The 13th Prophecy Page 35

His lips trailed down my neck, and I felt every caress of his tongue—every stroke of his hand. Gasping, he stopped and looked at me. His eyes lingering on my lips and then my breasts. His fingertips tracing along the curves of my body, playing and teasing. “Since when do you swim naked?”

Wide-eyed, I stared at him. I couldn’t believe he was here. That he was in my arms. I smiled shyly, “It’s the curse. I’m always naked.”

He laughed and pulled me to his chest. Cradling my head, he looked into my eyes. “That is a blessing in disguise.” He smiled again, and kissed me so deeply that bliss shot through me.

Jenna Marie’s glittery blessing came to mind. The words she said that fell like a crown on my head before she followed Lorren into the glass. I smiled. She gave me a blessing that transformed a hideous curse. I wondered if she knew Collin was here. I wondered if she knew that he would be the only person that could touch me. Jenna Marie gave me more than I ever hoped for, and there was no way for me to thank her.

Collin pulled back, examining the expression on my face, the smile that lingered on my lips and the tears in the corners of my eyes. “What are you thinking?”

“I love you with all my soul, Collin Smith.” I pressed my lips to his gently, tasting him with a flick of my tongue. Collin wrapped his arms around me tightly, deepening the kiss, and took my breath away.
